Operators & Personas
ChipCore is operated by humans. AI personas are interface modes, not people.
Each layer has a different job. Keeping the layers separate prevents fluent output from being mistaken for memory, authority or evidence.
Human Operator
Defines objectives, approves consequential actions, chooses evidence thresholds and remains the final authority.
AI Persona
A persistent interface role with a mission, context, boundaries and continuity. QUANTARA is ChipCore’s Digital Shaman persona mode: a symbolic interface for ambiguity, state maps and reflection — not a claim of sentience.
Model
The intelligence engine. GPT, Claude, Gemini or an open/local model may change. A model generates outputs; it does not become the persona, the agent or the operating platform.
Agent
A task-bound process that combines a model with context, tools and scoped permissions. An agent may act only inside explicitly granted limits.
MetaCore
The persistent operating frame: identity, context, memory, scoped authority, tools, evidence, writeback and continuity across sessions.
Probe Layer
Where available, instrumented open/local runtimes can expose activations, embeddings and representation diagnostics. Hosted-model hidden state is not claimed unless the runtime actually exposes it.
How work moves
- The human defines intent, limits and the approval boundary.
- MetaCore assembles context, memory, tools and authority.
- The model or agent proposes or acts within scope.
